Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read these terms carefully before confirming any booking with Travessy Destinations Private Limited.

This cancellation and refund policy is a general statement for customer guidance. It should be reviewed by the company's legal advisor before final publication, as terms may vary by supplier, fare type and specific booking.

1. Cancellation and refund terms vary by booking

Cancellation, refund and amendment rules differ depending on the airline, hotel, package, visa provider, cruise line, transfer operator or other supplier involved in your booking. Fare rules, room type and package inclusions always take precedence. Travessy applies the supplier's published policy at the time of cancellation.

2. Applicable supplier and service charges

In addition to supplier charges, Travessy may apply a reasonable service or cancellation fee to cover administrative costs, payment processing and rebooking work. This fee will be communicated clearly at the time of cancellation.

3. Refunds are subject to supplier receipt and processing

All refunds are contingent on the supplier actually crediting the amount back to Travessy. Once we receive the refund from the airline, hotel, package operator or visa provider, we will pass it on to you through the original payment mode or as mutually agreed.

Refund processing timelines vary by supplier and can range from a few business days to several weeks. We will share the expected timeline when we submit your cancellation request.

4. Non-refundable components

Certain components of a booking may be non-refundable. These commonly include, but are not limited to:

  • Flight cancellation or no-show fees charged by airlines.
  • Non-refundable hotel rates or advance-purchase room blocks.
  • Package deposits, visa fees, travel insurance premiums and confirmation charges.
  • Service fees for confirmed bookings that are cancelled by the customer.

5. Amendments and changes

Date changes, name changes, route changes, room upgrades or any other amendment are subject to supplier availability and penalties. We will confirm the additional cost or penalty before processing the amendment.

6. No-shows

If a customer does not travel, check in or board without informing us in advance, the booking is treated as a no-show. No-shows are generally not eligible for refund and may attract additional supplier charges.

7. Visa fees

Visa application fees, facilitation charges and documentation fees are typically non-refundable once the application has been submitted or processed, even if the visa is rejected or travel plans change.

8. Cancellation timelines

The earlier you request a cancellation, the more options we usually have. Many airlines and hotels offer lower cancellation penalties when cancelled well before the travel date. Last-minute cancellations often attract higher charges or no refund.

9. How to request a cancellation or refund

Contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We will check the supplier's policy, explain the applicable charges, and process the request once you confirm.

10. Force majeure and unforeseen events

In exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, war or airline suspension, cancellation and refund terms will be governed by the supplier's policy and any applicable government directives. Travessy will act as your intermediary to secure the best possible outcome, but we cannot guarantee refunds beyond what the supplier provides.

11. Dispute resolution

If you disagree with a cancellation charge or refund amount, please contact us with your booking reference and we will review the supplier's documentation. We are committed to resolving genuine concerns fairly and promptly.
