Best time to visit Bali
5 min read · 12-05-2026
Bali runs on two broad seasons. The dry season, roughly April to October, brings steady sunshine, calmer seas and the best conditions for the south-coast beaches, Nusa islands and diving around Amed.
The wet season, November to March, is not a write-off. Rain usually arrives in short heavy bursts, the rice terraces are at their greenest and hotel rates soften noticeably — useful if you are travelling as a family or on a longer stay.
For a balance of weather and value, May, June and September are the sweet spot. July and August are peak: book flights and villas early, especially around Indian school holidays.
